Dr. Robert Patty - Vice President of Corporate Operations

Dr. Patty joined Lauren in 2011 and currently serves as Vice-President of Corporate Operations. He is responsible for Procurement and Materials Management, Safety, Project Controls, and Quality Management.

 

Dr. Patty has over 30 years of industry experience and has been a constructability/lean consultant for PetroCanada, Saudi Aramco and BP, and most recently served as KBR's constructability technology chief and lean program manager worldwide. He has personally led implementations on major capital projects in the United States, Canada, Venezuela and Nigeria.

 

Dr. Patty also co-authored a book on lean system in the EPC market that is used at campuses to teach the principles of lean management in construction. The book is titled, The End ofProject Overruns: Lean and Beyond for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.

 

Dr. Patty earned a Ph.D in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, and holds a Master’s degree of Business Administration from Colorado State University.
