Lauren's manufacturing scope for this 224 MW Power Plant Expansion included: 8 modular piperack assemblies, more than 1300 pipe spools, misc. pipe support steel, and electrical relay panels. Pipe fabrication included a significan percentage of P11, P22, and P91 chrome spools and heavy wall carbon.

Refinery Expansion

Navajo Refining - ROSE Unit
Artesia, New Mexico

Lauren Manufacturing recently completed fabrication of all piping for the ROSE Unit project. 1200 pipe spools were completed and shipped to the jobsite, including 5% chrome piping manufactured to B31.3 service. Lauren has a long history and an extensive relationship with Navajo and has also completed fabrication of all the carbon steel piping in support of our Gas-Oil Hydrotreater Project in Artesia, New Mexico. Piping was fabricated to B31.3 severe standards.

HRSG Panel Refurbishment

Lauren Manufacturing was awarded a contract to refurbish HRSG wall panels for 3 units that had been in storage for several years. This unique project required replacement of all panel insulation along with painting for rust prevention. Scope also included sorting and cataloging hundreds of thousands of assembly parts.

Solar Power Project

Lauren manufacturing supported this unique project in several areas, including solar field metals, components, electrical panels, pipe fabrication, supplemental steel for pipe supports, pressure vessels, process equipment skids, and 54" cooling water piping. Fabrication was completed in early 2007.

Modular Piperack Assemblies

Linde BOC - Gas Plant

Lauren Manufacturing fabricated 10 piperack modules in support of a fast track gas plant for Linde, with all modules successfully shipped on time. Steel frame was welded and finish painted. All pipe was pressure tested, painted, electric traced, and insulated as required.

Modular Equipment Skids

GE Water/Ionics/RCC

Lauren's scope of work typically involves design and fabrication of several water treatment equipment skids along with associated access platforms and ladders for power projects requiring recycled water. We have received contracts in support of 15 projects for this repeat customer (beginning in 1996). Skids are shipped complete with all piping and electrical installed and tested for ease of installation on site. Customer furnished P&ID’s, specifications and major equipment.

Modular Equipment Skids

McNeil Specialties Corporation (a division of Johnson and Johnson)

Lauren was responsible for designing and fabricating three food processing research skids for McNeil Specialties. All skids were 40' x 8' x 8' and included steel frameworks, process equipment, piping and elaborate control systems. The framework was galvanized and most of the equipment and piping was stainless steel.

Pipe Fab/Modular Equipment Skids/and Modular Piperack Assemblies

Lauren completed fabrication of all 2” and larger piping (including underground) and (24) modular equipment skids for Lauren's 225MW fast track EPC Cogeneration II Project in Las Vegas, Nevada. This included fabrica++tion and pre-assembly of a 600’ main pipe rack in 60’ lengths – complete with piping (in position) with supports, guides, painting and insulation. Not including the underground and rack piping, Lauren fabricated 1,330 spools with 8,100 welds within 5 months. Lauren also fabricated all required electrical panels.

Lauren fabricated pipe rack modules for our OSBL work at a new power generation facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Lauren was also responsible for the support steel and expansion loops. Piping was painted and insulated.

Polymers Pipe Fabrication

Lauren performed detailing and fabrication of all large bore pipe fabrication and supports for Lauren's grass roots EPC polymers project in Charleston, South Carolina. Pipe sizes ranged up to 56” diameter. Lauren Engineers & Constructors also fabricated jacketed piping for this project.

Lauren Engineers & Constructors designed and fabricated (12) large electrical relay cabinets and aluminum bus and support towers for Lauren's project with LS Power, a new 161/230 kV substation and transmission lines for an 834MW merchant power plant located in Batesville, Mississippi.

Lauren detailed and fabricated stainless steel injection lances, chrome lance supports, and the carbon steel ammonia injection grid piping, headers, and manifolds for this SCR project. This is the third project completed for this repeat customer.
