Holly Corporation awards Lauren an EPC Contract for a New ROSE Unit at Their Artesia, NM Refinery

ABILENE,TX (August 30, 2007) Lauren Engineers & Constructors has been awarded a Lump Sum contract to build a new ROSE Unit located at the Navajo Refinery in Artesia, New Mexico. 

Lauren’s scope of work includes the design, procurement, and installation of a ROSE Unit utilizing KBR technology.  Detailed scope will include DCS programming, electrical, instrumentation and all piping.  Throughput capacity of the ROSE unit shall be 18,000 BSPD. During peak construction, Lauren will employ over 100 people at the site. The project, from start to mechanical completion, will last 23 months.

In accordance with Lauren’s emphasis on positive community relationships, Lauren plans on being an active participant in the Artesia community throughout the duration of this project.   As with all of our projects, our focus will be on the successful completion of this project and on creating a positive influence in the community.
