Bosque Power Company, LLC, a division of LS Power Group, recently executed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Lauren Engineers and Constructors (Lauren) for the expansion of the Bosque County Generating Plant.  The Bosque Expansion Project, located in Laguna Park, Texas involves the conversion of two existing simple-cycle combustion turbine units into a (2x1) combined cycle configuration.  The conversion will increase the nominal output of the Bosque Plant from 546 MW to 770MW.

The EPC contract was executed in July 2007.  Lauren began pre-mobilization and engineering work in March 2007 and mobilized to the site in July 2007.  The project is scheduled for completion in March 2009.   During peak construction, Lauren will employ over 400 personnel at site.
