Separation Technologies LLC has awarded Lauren an EPC fixed price contract for a fly-ash separation facility, breaking ground for construction March of 2007.  STI’s proprietary electrostatic technology processes the fly ash by-product of coal-fired power plants through carbon separation and ammonia removal in an eco-friendly manner.  Project systems include dust collection and appurtenances, ash conveying, storage, as well as controls for ash and carbon handling.  Project location is at Tampa Electric Power Company’s Big Bend Power Plant in Gibsonton, FL.  New facility operations are scheduled to commence the 2nd quarter of 2008.  Visit www.stiash.com for further information on Separation Technologies’ fly ash processing and product marketing.
