Lauren Engineers & Constructors was responsible for providing detailed design, procurement and construction for this fly ash separation project, which processes fly ash using Separation Technologies, Inc.’s proprietary electrostatic carbon separation and ammonia removal technology. The project included ash and lime conveying and storage systems, control systems, dust collection systems and their appurtenances. This project was located at the Morrow Generation Plant, and production start-up was one month ahead of schedule.
