EPC Project - Nevada Solar One - 72 MW Solar Power Generating Facility
Lauren served as the EPC contractor to build a 72 MW power generating facility in Boulder City, Nevada. At project completion, Nevada Solar One was the largest-capacity solar thermal plant to be built in 17 years and the third-largest in the world. The plant consists of a Power Block area and a 400-acre field of mirror arrays that focus the heat of the desert sun into a heat transfer fluid system. Nevada Solar One was completed during the third quarter of 2007. |
